1. All art products are locally shipped in South Africa, using Pudo Locker by The Courier Guy. The flat rate for small parcels is R50. 

 

2. Please indicate your preferred locker location during checkout.

 

3. Delivery times vary based on location and the days that The Courier Guy services your area.

 

4. Items are packaged and shipped out within two (2) working days after order is placed. Estimated delivery time is between five (5) to seven (7) working days after package is placed in the locker for courier collection.

 

5. Faster delivery options are available at your own cost and arrangement:

 5.1. Please let us know about this preference within 24 hours after your order has been placed. (WhatsApp +27-84-622-1108 with your order number).

 5.2 To prevent churn, your R50 delivery fee will be refunded to you only after the item has been collected by your preferred courier. This ensures that if your courier does not collect, we can still ship out your order.

 5.3 We do not assume liability for package condition, handling, or loss, due to carrier negligence.

 

6. We currently do not offer international shipments outside of South Africa due to logistical constraints regarding export cost and taxes. If you would like to order an item using your own courier services, let us know before placing the order. We can provide you an address to use on the website when you place the order. It will also be the address you need to provide your courier to collect from us. 

1. Most cards, where indicated, are sealed for waterproofing using a cold wax medium.

 

2. Each card is packaged in 66mm x 91mm, 140-micron, acid-free, non-PVC sleeve. Sleeves have reinforced edges, offer high clarity and non-slip touch to prevent against wear and tear, liquids, and oils (from handling). 

 

3. Cards are then placed in a 160gsm rigid board backed envelope, sealed, and bagged for courier collection.

1. All ACEO artworks are guaranteed one-off originals. There may be similarities when artists paint a series with a singular theme, but the cards are not reproducable.

 

2. No prints are made from original ACEO artworks.

 

3. Each piece is signed, or initialled on the front of the card, and comes with a signed certificate of authenticity.

 

4. Each item is numbered uniquely for each artist, and, or, series. 

 

5. Artist Copyright: Artists reserve the right to approve or deny any customer requests for reproduction as, or in (non-exhaustive list); prints, copies, logos, flyers, marketing, advertising campaigns, posters, social media, digital media, etc., without the express written permission of the artist.

 

6. Mixed media cards are Collection collages. They still fit the size parameters of ACEOs, but include a variety of substrates, finishes, and embellishments. 

1. We are unable to accept returns of sold artwork.

 

2. While every precaution is taken to ensure that items arrive in pristine condition, we are unable to anticipate delivery challenges that result in (1) possible damage, or (2) loss.

 

WE URGE YOU TO PLEASE REFUSE DELIVERY OF ANY VISIBLY DAMAGED PACKAGING.

 

3. In the event of damage to your purchase, we require photographic evidence of damage to the packaging caused by the courier, as well as evidence showing the damage to the item, within 24 hours of a successful delivery scan. 4. In the event of a lost package scan;

 4.1 We will issue you with an immediate refund back to your original payment method.

 4.2 You can also opt for a replacement piece of equal value, available on the website. This can be shipped immediately.

 4.3 Since items are one-off originals, we will not be able to reproduce, accurately, the original lost item, but if you want something similar in colour or theme, let us know, and we can request one from the original artist. This may take up to 30 days. We trust you understand. 

 

5. DISCLAIMER FOR OWN COURIER USE: In the event you've opted to utilise your own carrier company to collect the art from us, we do not accept any liability for improper handling of the art, damage to the art or packaging, loss, misrouting, misdelivery, or theft.

1. ACEO cards are painted on 160g/m2 responsibly sourced watercolour paper FSC^® C123820 (www.fsc.org).

 

2. Our gouache and acrylic paints conform to US Standard ASTM D-4236, and European Standard EN71 (part I, II, and III)

 

3. Our oil pastels conform to German standard DIN EN71 (adapted European standard) which limits the chemical migration of 19 toxic elements from paint materials.

 

4. To reduce environmental impact, waste water from brush cleaning and left over paint in palettes are not disposed of in drains. Instead, containers are left to evaporate. Dried residue is then ground to make powder paints which can be reconstituted.

 

5. Mixed media cards repurposes materials to prevent them from ending up in landfills. 

 

6. The rigid mailers used for shipping are manufactured using 100% recycled materials.
